At WDSrx we streamline the supply chain between treatments and patients. This mission is accomplished inside and outside our facilities.
Our logistics teams at our seven warehouse locations in Florida, Ohio, New Jersey and Texas focus on assuring the correct orders reach the authorized recipient at the proper time.
The work outside our facilities includes outreach to existing clients, new prospects, professional organizations and elected officials to exchange information about creating and maintaining a favorable business climate in the pharmaceutical logistics industry.
Over the previous months from July-September, the WDSrx Marketing team promoted our capabilities at many business opportunities.
During the ECRM Contract Manufacturing event in Scottsdale, AZ and at the Total Store Expo in Boston, MA from August 24-26 organized by the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS), the WDSrx team scheduled meetings with clients and prospects to discuss service levels, potential issues that may affect satisfaction and new services and capabilities.
The Specialty Pharma Association organized their Regulatory Seminar in Washington, DC in August to provide updated information for pharmaceutical manufacturers about Federal legislation affecting the industry including antitrust cases, FDA and DEA policies and procedural changes. The WDSrx marketing team participated in the program to provide a perspective of pharmaceutical 3PL companies.
While in Washington, DC, appointments were scheduled with Federal elected officials in Ohio and Florida who govern districts where WDSrx facilities are located, including legislative staff from the Offices of Congressman Ted Deutch (FL-22), Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and Senator Bob Portman (R-OH).
Our September schedule included stops in Philadelphia, PA for the LogiPharma conference and also the Contract Pharma Expo in New Brunswick, NJ. These events attract supply chain professionals from pharmaceutical manufacturers that utilize logistics services.
Engaging directly with clients, prospects and legislators helps WDSrx communicate more effectively with these important groups and provides valuable intelligence to continuously improve pharma logistics services that support growth.
