Technology Increases Productivity in the Latest Issue of ADVANCE!
The theme of the 2021 Q3 + Q4 Edition of ADVANCE Magazine is Techno-Logistics:
ADVANCE is the quarterly, official company magazine of WDSrx. It focuses on the latest news highlights at our nine facility locations, with an emphasis on key business developments and the various team members at WDSrx.
“Our mission at WDSrx is to provide “Confidence Beyond Compliance.” Fulfilling our mission requires us to constantly evaluate how to improve our services. Our clients expect us to increase productivity every day.
We faced significant business challenges during 2021. The WDSrx team, working at nine facility locations in Florida, Ohio, Texas, Nevada and New Jersey, responded to work disruptions and assisted to assure continuous operations. Lessons learned during the pandemic are helping us to become a better logistics services provider to our clients and their patients.
For example, investments in technology are changing the methods with which warehouses fulfill orders. By 2023, demand for robotic systems that deliver goods is expected to quadruple. Technology plays an important role by operating alongside employees and behind-the-scenes to speed growth and expansion.
The theme for this issue of Advance is “Techno-Logistics.” At WDSrx, upgrades to our Warehouse Management System and other technologies link our nine facility locations into a single network. New technologies for refrigeration, system monitoring and SOP training are already implemented or scheduled for 2022. The articles in this issue highlight technology and how it affects our professional and our personal lives.
Clients are seeking innovative solutions to reduce risk. And we are helping them to secure sufficient inventory supply and consistent order fulfillment. As we look forward to continued growth in 2022, I wish each of you a safe, happy and joyous holiday season and New Year. “
